THE STORY
For most of my life, I have been an entrepreneur.I built businesses, invested in opportunities, and learned to recognize value where others might not immediately see it. But at some point, I discovered a world that had nothing to do with business at first. Minerals.
What began as fascination became a passion and eventually an obsession. Not simply for beautiful crystals, but for the exceptional ones. Museum quality mineral specimens. Crystallized gold. Extraordinary Mesolite and Scolecite from India. Exceptional quartz from the Himalayas. Emeralds, aquamarines, tanzanites, tourmalines and other gemstones that represent the very best of their kind. I became fascinated by the hunt. The search for pieces that cannot simply be reordered once they are sold. The discoveries hidden in old collections. The relationships with miners, dealers, cutters and collectors around the world and the realization that the finest pieces are not commodities.
They are individual works of nature. That philosophy became the foundation of Premium Gemstones.Today, my world revolves around three closely connected areas:Fine Minerals. Exceptional Gemstones. Fine Jewelry.
I travel and work with sources around the world to find pieces that excite me personally because my rule is simple: If I wouldn't want to own it myself, I don't want to offer it to someone else. For gemstones, the journey often starts even earlier.Whenever possible, we source rough material close to its origin. Through our dedicated cutting operation in Jaipur, built in cooperation with experienced local cutters, selected rough stones are cut and polished specifically for us.
This gives us control over one of the most important stages in the life of a gemstone. We decide how a stone should be cut not simply to maximize weight, but to reveal its beauty. For exceptional stones, the journey continues.
We design our own jewelry and create individual pieces around the gemstone itself. The stone comes first. The jewelry follows. A remarkable emerald should not be chosen to fit a design. The design should be created to honor the emerald.
The same philosophy applies to our Fine Minerals. Some specimens are acquired to be offered to collectors. Others become part of our own collection and may remain there for many years. Because truly exceptional mineral specimens are finite. You cannot manufacture another great crystallized gold specimen. You cannot ask a mountain in the Himalayas to produce another extraordinary quartz and when a remarkable mineral pocket is exhausted, nature may never produce anything quite like it again.
That is what makes collecting so fascinating. Rarity. Beauty. Provenance. The knowledge that some opportunities may only appear once. Premium Gemstones is about more than finding exceptional pieces. It is also about building something that lasts.
My daughter Cheyenne is already becoming part of this world as she learns more and more about minerals and gemstones aswell as developing an eye for quality and rarity, traveling, meeting people in the industry and understanding the relationships behind every important acquisition. This knowledge cannot simply be handed over in a manual. It takes years of seeing stones. Years of comparing quality. Years of buying, learning and building relationships. My goal is not simply to pass on a company one day. It is to pass on the knowledge, relationships, collection and philosophy behind it. Some of the specimens we acquire today may still be in our collection decades from now. Some of the relationships we build today may continue into another generation.
That is how I want Premium Gemstones to grow. Not as a short-term business, but as a family legacy built around some of nature's most exceptional creations. The search takes us from mines and cutting workshops to international mineral shows, private collections and dealers around the world. No matter how many extraordinary pieces we find, there is always the same feeling: The best piece may still be out there. Another mine. Another collection. Another discovery. Another story. You just have to find it.
That is why Premium Gemstones exists. To search. To discover. To preserve and to connect exceptional minerals, gemstones and jewelry with people who appreciate what makes them truly rare. Fine Minerals. Exceptional Gemstones. Fine Jewelry. Certified. Transparent. Direct.
