Description
COPPER RIDGE is an extraordinary rock crystal specimen with rutile and chlorite from the Himalayas. Despite its compact size, the specimen displays a remarkably complex architecture, with several well-defined quartz crystals forming a balanced and dynamic cluster.
Particularly fascinating are the visible rutile inclusions within selected areas of the quartz. Depending on the viewing angle and light, they reveal warm golden, bronze, and copper-colored reflections, creating a striking contrast with the clear crystal structure.
Greenish chlorite adds cooler mineral accents and further enhances the contrast with the warm metallic tones of the rutile. The interplay between the horizontally oriented main crystal, upright companion crystals, and mineral-rich matrix gives COPPER RIDGE its distinctive, almost landscape-like character.
As the specimen is viewed from different perspectives, individual terminations, inclusions, growth structures, and reflections continuously reveal new details.
Weighing just 39 g and measuring approximately 35 × 50 × 40 mm, COPPER RIDGE is a small yet highly expressive collector’s specimen with exceptional visual complexity for its size.
The combination of clear Himalayan rock crystal, warm-toned rutile, greenish chlorite, and its distinctive ridge-like crystal architecture makes COPPER RIDGE a unique and highly individual specimen.
