Description
GOLDEN SHADOW is an extraordinary rock crystal specimen with rutile and chlorite from the Himalayas. Despite its compact dimensions, the crystal combines remarkable clarity with warm golden-brown rutile inclusions and contrasting greenish chlorite.
Particularly fascinating are the fine rutile needles within the quartz. Depending on the viewing angle and light, they reveal golden, bronze, and copper-colored reflections. Greenish chlorite provides a cooler contrast, adding further depth and mineralogical complexity to the transparent crystal.
The pronounced termination and clearly visible internal growth structures give GOLDEN SHADOW its distinctive character. Thanks to the clarity of the quartz, rutile needles, chlorite, and individual growth zones can be observed deep within the crystal, creating a remarkable three-dimensional effect.
As the specimen is viewed from different perspectives, shifting reflections and subtle refractions continuously reveal new inclusions and internal details.
Weighing just 32 g and measuring approximately 40 mm in height, GOLDEN SHADOW is a miniature collector’s specimen with exceptional detail and character. Its transparency and internal mineral structures are particularly striking when presented on an acrylic stand.
The combination of clear Himalayan rock crystal, golden to copper-toned rutile, greenish chlorite, and its complex internal structure makes GOLDEN SHADOW a unique and highly distinctive specimen.
